With the Bluelab Starter Pack (PENSTP) you have all the essential tools for managing and optimizing the growth process of your plants. The Starter Pack contains the Bluelab pH pen, EC pen and maintenance set.

The smart Bluelab pens make it super easy to measure nutrient uptake (pH), amount of food available (EC/ppm) and nutrient solution temperature (°C/°F), giving you the best nutritional environment for growth of your plants.

Bluelab pH pen

To increase nutrient absorption, plants need a certain pH value. This value indicates the acidity or alkalinity of the feed water. With the compact Bluelab pH pen you can accurately measure the pH value of a nutrient solution. This way you know exactly whether and which adjustments are necessary.

Bluelab EC pen

Good nutrition starts with quality nutrients. Measuring conductivity daily is the best way to avoid dilution or overconcentration of the nutrient solution. With the help of the Bluelab EC pen you know how many nutrients the solution contains and whether this is sufficient or not.

In addition to the pH and EC, the Bluelab pens also measure the temperature of the solution. Temperature is important for the growth rate and structure of a plant. In most cases, a solution temperature of 18-22 ˚C or 65-72 ˚F is ideal.
